Comments: The cinematography and camera work really grabbed me on this one. Travolta's and Lithgow's performances, the unique use of sound, and the wonderfully captured sound equipment were highlights as well. It gave me a whole new respect for De Palma and the process of making movies
Additional Note: If possible watch the Criterion version and be sure to check out the interview with Garrett Brown. Amazing stuff. The De Palma interview is super good as well.

Added it to my queue - thought it was already on there, but that turned out to be Blow Up (1966), where a London fashion photographer inadvertently captures evidence of a murder.
ReplyDeleteYes, very confusing. Also, not to be confused with Blow Dry (2001). Blow (2001), or the two Blown Away's from 1993 and 1994.
